This is a major Door County festival.

     Celebrating winter’s wonderland, Fish Creek will host a weekend of fun and frivolity February 8 – 10, 2008.  Winter Fest activities throughout the village will feature something to delight every age.  From spitting a cherry pit to sampling chili or an evening of rock & roll, the weekend’s activities will include food, music, and games.  “Kites Over the Bay” will paint the sky with a rainbow of color, the Peninsula Art School will serve up homemade soup in handcrafted pottery bowls, and the Door Community Auditorium will host the 4th Annual Door County Idol. Fish Creek Winter Fest kicks off the Town of Gibraltar’s Sesquicentennial, a year-long celebration of the community’s history and heritage.

Raffle tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20 and are available at Info Center and participating businesses.

Fish Creek Sesquicentennial collectors travel mugs are available for purchase at the Fish Creek Information Center and participating restaurants.  Supply is limited.
 
The Door County Trolley will offer free rides throughout the village on Saturday 11 – 4 pm.
